Rev . Dr. Patricia L Lane, Patty as she goes by, was born and raised in El Paso. She graduated from UTEP and worked for the Delta Divine Saviour Larger Parish here in El Paso as the Community Program Director, where she supervised 72 programs. She then entered McCormick Presbyterian Theological Seminary, transferring to Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She received her Doctor of Ministry Degree Program from San Francisco Theological Seminary. After serving two churches in San Antonio she was called to work at the main office of the denomination for the Self-Development of People Committee (part of the One Great Hour of Sharing Ministry). She traveled all over the United States and the world. After 10 years in this position Patty received a call to a Presbyterian Church in El Paso and returned home where she has served as pastor and interim pastor until her retirement.
