Candy serves as the Unity El Paso board of trustees president. Candy has begun her path to becoming a Unity minister and is currently enrolled in the Unity Introduction Course. She has been a guest speaker at Unity on several occasions and has facilitated both a monthly art class and classes on the 12 Powers of Man. She also co-leads the Sacred Women’s Circle, offering support and spiritual connection to women in the community.

Born into a military family, Candy moved every one to three years throughout her childhood. She first learned about Jesus in second grade and later attended Christian schools during her teen years. Right after high school, she joined the Army. She is the proud mother of two sons, Ronnie and Rodney, and the grandmother of seven grandchildren.

Candy shares that her true spiritual journey began in 2019:
